Our Response to Covid-19

As things continue to unfold, we want to keep you as up to date as we can with what we are doing here at Steve Hatt Fishmongers.

Keeping our treasured customers and staff safe and well remains our priority, as well as ensuring we comply with government guidelines.

We intend to keep the shop open, however, we have put the following measures in place in response to the current circumstances.

No Entry Into The Shop
This is tough for us, as our favourite thing about running the shop is interacting with our lovely customers. However, in order to keep you safe, we are restricting entry into the shop and serving instead from the doorway. This decision has not been taken lightly and has your health and wellbeing in mind.

Queuing Policy – Follow the Fish!
To observe social distancing, we have decorated the pavement outside with yellow fishes 2 meters apart. Please use these as markers to stand beside whilst waiting to enter the shop.

Priority Queuing
We are operating a priority system for our older and vulnerable customers to allow them to fast track and minimise their time spent at risk.

Telephone + Online Ordering
We are still continuing to offer our ‘Click and Collect’ service. We have a selection of Fish available for online ordering with more stock available via telephone order. If you can’t see what you fancy online, just give us a call!
